Momba Promotions LLC is working to make carmenthemomba.com accessible to people with disabilities. This statement describes what we have done, where we know the limits are, and how to reach us if something on the site does not work for you.

What web accessibility means

An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. That is achieved partly through how the site itself is built, and partly through assistive technologies such as screen readers, magnifiers and keyboard navigation.

Accessibility adjustments on this site

We aim to meet the WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines. This site was rebuilt as plain, semantic HTML specifically so that it works well with assistive technology. As part of that effort we have:

Set the language of the site so screen readers pronounce content correctly
Used a single, clear heading structure on every page, with one H1 per page
Used semantic landmarks — header, navigation, main and footer — on every page
Provided a “skip to content” link as the first item on every page
Made every interactive element reachable and operable by keyboard alone
Kept a visible focus outline on links, buttons and form fields
Labelled every form field, and marked required fields in text as well as colour
Checked text and background colour combinations against the required contrast ratios
Avoided conveying information through colour alone
Avoided automatic motion, animation, carousels and autoplaying media
Built the layout to work at phone, tablet and desktop widths, and to survive zooming
Avoided baking text into images, and provided alternative text where images are used

Partial compliance due to third-party content

The accessibility of some parts of this site depends on content that does not belong to us. In particular, the scheduling widget embedded on our Book a Call page is provided by Calendly, and our store and event pages at shop.carmenthemomba.com are provided by a third-party platform, and payment for training is taken on Stripe’s own checkout pages. We therefore declare partial compliance with the standard for those pages and sections.

If the scheduling widget is not usable for you, you do not need it. Email or call us and we will book the time for you directly.

Accessibility of our training sessions

Our training is delivered in person, at venues we do not usually own — brokerages, offices, community rooms and gyms. Venue accessibility therefore varies. Tell us what you need when you book and we will confirm the specifics of the venue in advance, including step-free access, parking, seating and restroom facilities.

Participation in physical activity is always voluntary and can be adapted. The material is designed to work without requiring strength, speed or athletic background, and participants may opt out of any physical element at any point.
