Sponsorships & Fight Promotions
Join the Momba movement.
Sponsoring Carmen the Momba isn’t just about brand exposure — it’s about aligning with a movement. As a professional boxer, scientist and advocate for resilience, Carmen brings credibility, reach and inspiration to every fight, workshop and community event.
This is more than boxing.
Why I fight
It’s about proving that strength has no age, resilience has no limit, and every setback can be turned into a comeback.
Carmen the Momba fights for women, for survivors, for those told they’re too old, too broken, or too late. This is her story — and the movement behind every punch.
Whether you’re a global brand or a local leader, your support fuels a mission to empower women, promote safety and break barriers. Below are the three ways sponsors usually come in. If something else would suit your organization better, say so and we will build it.

The Momba Movement
The Momba Movement is a call to strength, safety and self-worth. It equips women and underserved communities with the tools to defend themselves — physically, mentally and emotionally. Through workshops, mentorship and advocacy, the Momba Movement is changing what power looks like. One woman at a time. One fight at a time.
Martial arts training
With over 30 years of martial arts experience, Carmen is a certified Master Instructor and lifelong student of combat. From karate and taekwondo to hapkido and military combatives, her training runs deep — and so does her commitment to teaching. She’s trained with one mission in mind: to turn fear into confidence, and discipline into everyday strength.
Who your sponsorship reaches
Momba Promotions is a Virginia SWaM-certified business — small, women-owned and minority-owned — and the work goes where that certification says it does. Sponsorship funds sessions for women and girls, survivors, veterans’ families and communities that rarely get offered this kind of training at all.
That has meant youth programming with Girls For A Change, inclusive community workshops with Diversity Richmond, training for women connected to Department of Veterans Affairs police services, sessions inside a church-affiliated shelter and a domestic violence support environment, and repeat work with SYWO Security Academy and women-focused gyms across the region.
A meaningful share of it is delivered free or heavily subsidised. Event sponsorship is frequently what makes those rooms possible at all.

Where a sponsor actually shows up.
Sponsorship here is not a logo on a page nobody visits. It attaches to work that happens in public, repeatedly, in front of the people you are trying to reach.
In the ring. An active professional boxing career means fight cards, weigh-ins, promotional video, walkout gear and post-fight coverage — and an audience that pays attention to who backs a fighter, particularly one who turned professional at 47 and is ranked while doing it.
In the training room. Momba workshops run continually across Virginia with public agencies, security academies, nonprofits, gyms, churches and community organizations. A brand attached to that work is attached to something people leave feeling better equipped by, which is a rarer kind of association than a banner.
In print and on air. Published in Real Estate Agent Magazine, featured across industry podcasts, and consistently covered in the Richmond athletic and small business community — including a 2025 RVA Female Athlete of the Year runner-up placing.
In the community. A substantial share of Momba's work is delivered for women's organizations, shelters, youth programs and veteran services, some of it free or heavily subsidised. Event sponsorship is frequently what makes those sessions possible at all.
How it works
- Tell us which tier looks closest, or describe your goal
- We put together a package and a cost for your review
- Terms, duration and deliverables are agreed in writing
- Assets are collected and placement begins
- You get evidence of placement as it runs
Custom arrangements are normal. If your organization has an objective that none of the three tiers fits, say so and we will build something around it.
